Quick question that I'm having trouble changing the distance between cities while using VP.
I want to set it up so that the distance between cities is the way it is in vanilla bnw+YNAEMP - 2 tiles in between cities on the same landmass, 1 tile in between on different landmasses. I want this restriction to be global, so it doesn't differ between games. (If I have to write a mod for it, that's not a problem) I don't care if smaller city distance is terribly unbalanced or not recommended in VP, I just want to be able to have this as an option.
Two ways I have tried to modify this is going into the Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/Mods/(1) Community Patch/Core Files/Core Changes/WorldChanges SQL file and changing the values of minimum city distance for major and minor civs to 2 each, but it didn't do anything for me in-game.
Another thing I tried to do was go into the main files and edit the distance between cities by editing the GlobalDefines.xml file, though I forget which value I edited specifically.
Help is much appreciated!
