Changing hotkeys

Hello,

I just got Civ V after playing Civ IV. I know how to change the hot keys but I cannot for the life of me find the file where the "G" hotkey is stored. I want to switch the hotkeys for move and grid. Anyone know where KB_G is stored?

Hotkeys are hard coded (lua or DLL, depends)

Welcome to the frustrating world of Civ 5 modding. Some things are easy to change, while some are (to all intents and purposes) impossible.

Hotkeys fall into both camps! Some, those associate with unit builds, actions, etc are easy to change - as there are in the XML files that populate the database (see Civ5Automates, Civ5Builds, Civ5Commands, Civ5Controls, Civ5InterfaceModes and Civ5Missions) while others, mainly those associated with the User Interface (panning, zooming, etc) - including KB_G - are hard-coded into the UI DLL (which we don't have the source code for) so falls into the "impossible to change" category.
