Changing the appearance of Trading Post

Hello,

I don't like the appearance of Trading Post. Imho it's not cool when half of land crowded with some sort of medieval barracks in the modern era. I think it would be better to change it to something like a smaller copy of the city. Something like Town in Civ4.
Is it possible? If so, how it can be achieved?

Not sure if it's still working with the current patch (probably not), but you should take a look at this mod component here. Not exactly what you want, but should help you to get some things going on.
