Is it possible to change the main menu music? i tried tinkering with Audio_sounds and Script2DSounds to no avail. i saw the tutorials posted here but they only add new music for civs not replace existing ones. i got the idea for replacing it like the second expansion did but i dont know how to copy it.

If you're wishing to change it permanently (without a mod) then you can navigate to the following folder:
Code:
<PathToSteam>\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\DLC\Expansion2\Sounds\Streamed\Music
and replace OpeningMenu_Exp2.wav by your new main menu music.

If you're wanting to do it via a mod then I'm not sure, but you can try adding your music as OpeningMenu_Exp2.wav to your mod and setting VFS=true for it.

Mods won't have loaded by then, so you'll either have to change the file directly (as suggested by Troller001) or (possibly) make a pseudo-DLC to do it

Thank you for your responses. I do not wish to mess with the original files but a pseudo-DLC sounds good so i might try that.
