Hi folks,

I'm building a civ2 gold scenario, and I'd like to modify the standard fortress/airfield engineers' terrain enhancements, but I can't figure out how to do so using the editor or cheat menus. Having looked at other scenarios, I know this can be done. Any tips? Thanks,

Do you mean how they appear as a graphic? If so, you can edit them as any other - they are in the city.gif, IIRC.

I'm trying to change both the appearance and name of airbases and forts. Thanks for the info on that gif file.

Another question - is there a way to make a ground unit behave like a carrier? Toggling the carrier button in the editor allows air/missile units to land on the "ground carrier," but then when I move the thing, it won't carry the air units with it, as carriers and subs do on ocean squares.

No, that only works with naval units. However, you can make a ship with the paratroop ability. Has anybody done this with a loaded carrier? Do the planes come along for the jump?
