Cheat thread: Post your cheats

I tried to sumit a cheat to the site but I noticed that I needed Outlook installed on my computer (which I don't), so I decided to open this new thread for me and any other civ player who wants to post cheats or usable bugs in the game.

So please post your cheats here.



View the entire map cheat:
Go to the art\terrain folder and remove the "fogofwar" file (rename or move to another folder).
This will show the entire map terrain and all other civs city borders
(thuogh not the cites themselves).

If I find any more cheats I'll post them here.

its hard to accomplish and takes good timing, but...

this cheat deals with artilliary. when you select the unit and hit b the screen will center on the unit. if you click the mouse before the screen centers you can get a shot that is actually beyond your range. you have to click fast and frankly ive never done it on purpose, only by accident, but it works.

I hardly consider deleting files from the game cheating. Thats more of ruining the game.

I pity ppl who need cheats. This game was made so that it had NO cheats, and i think we all should respect the wish of all the Civ3 developers.

Some people do want to cheat. Posting these types of things is no worse that relaoding if you don't get the result or not. Its really up to the individual aas to whether they want to cheat or not, so don't give Yaniv such a hard time!

Sorry, Yaniv, I don't have any cheats of my onw to add (aside from the one you've mentioned, and the "exploits" listed in the GOTM rules).
