Real quick question. Will there be the cheat option in Civ. 3?

Don't know as yet. What would you want it to do? The same as in CivII?
I'd like to have a readout of turn number as well as year in CivIII, and that's something that in CivII you can only get by enabling cheat mode.

I hope it would be like in Civ II. The only reason I ask is because I like to use the option when I learn how to play, or when I try new things.

instead of using the cheat mode, just save the game at key points, and try different things. I know it takes a little longer, but finding out the harder way sometimes has benefits, too
