cheats enabling

I looked up the cheat codes for GalCiv2 and it said I would have to add a command line parameter. Cool so far. Now....does anybody know WHERE I need to add this line?

Create a desktop shortcut, right-click and select 'properties'. From there enter this into target

"C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\GalCiv2.exe"cheat

Then when you launch GC2 using this shortcut, cheating should be enabled.

I remember having a world of trouble with this as well. If, for whatever reason, the above method doesn't work, simply do the following.

(if you're on Windows)
Open Start Menu
Click on Run
copy paste "C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\GC2Launch.exe" cheat
then press enter.


The cheat version should be able to run even without the disc in the CD-rom.

That's not special to running in cheat mode. The game has never required the disc in to play.
