However - approaching a woman with sentence "I like your engineering idea, and don't get me wrong, i don't want to sleep with you, it' just that you have spent 2+ years and 20k+ euro on idea and i'm astounded by your persistance" yielded good results. She offered me to sleep with her and i was in a relationship. Now i'm in another relationship. She seems to be out of luck. But i still can be a shoulder to cry on and i can get my engineering friends over if she is serious enough about it.

I have played chess only for 23 years, but i know that you need only 2 queens for a checkmate.

You don't need 2 queens for a checkmate. No queens at all will do it very nicely.

What you can't do without is a king. You won't even get a draw without one of those.

On a serious note - being totally honest might scare away some people, but it will keep the right ones for sure.
