Chronicles of Mankind

I figured that would be a better reason not to implement them (a version of Judaism growing in a civ where there's only pig and shrimp to eat is going to be different from real Judaism). I guess my main thing is wishing there was more unique attributes for each religion. Right now, Hellenism is the elite religion due to Pankration trait and the gym boosts to health and production. I've had some Muslim units train with unique Islam-specific traits but they're always dependent on some specific arrangement of civics, whereas Pankration is almost always there.

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought there were more religions in RoM AND that I didn't see in CoM, would they be fine with you re-using them?

EDIT: I might've hallucinated those, there are no extra religions in AND, nm

EDIT: I was thinking of Caveman 2 Cosmos religions (I remember specifically Mesopotamism)

Yep, it's C2C again that hoarded up all those religions. Fortunately it's easy to port things over from there 🙂
And yes, Mesopotamianism (but I'd rather call it Annunaki) is also on my list to add. I'm undecided though whether it should be a Primitive religion (only temple) or a full Classical religion? If the second, than I have problems with the Ziggurat UB, which I'd have replace with something else for that religion, because Ziggurat would be the Annunaki Cathedral/Pantheon.

Should Hinduism lock out cows?
No it shouldn't, they still milk those.
I am happy to hear feedback on it.
Military promotions definitely should be nerfed, you can see what I did for that in my modmod, also made their sources obsolete early(er?).

I'll check. THX for the reminder :)

Honestly I wouldn't bother due to the overlaps between it and Hellenism, Zoroastrianism, Kemetism, and Judaism. Especially also since the AI seems like as soon as it converts to a religion, it pretty much sticks to it all game, regardless of the leaderhead preferences (or how often I use spies to force convert them every 10 turns)

I think it's okay if the ai is switching back to the religion that it has built up ASAP.
