I would really like that if civA lost a city to civB then civB can rebuild all the improvements that were already there in that city at a cheaper cost(1/2 the shields). And if that city is recaptured by civA the same thing would happen but it would be even cheaper (1/4).
Now if a city is destoyed you can rebuild that city if you order a worker to settle. The newly found city, which would have had to be a certain size when destroyed, would have the name of the once destroyed city. And again rebuilding the improvement would be eaiser if it was a really new city (2/3 alrigth?).
Another thing, it would be really cool if city names changed trough time and civ owner. Example, the Greeks have a city called Constantinople but if the turks capture the city it would become Istanbul. Of course this could only work in world map scenarios.
