I've been utilising an altered 43 Civ Community Patch DLL thanks to @Gazebo, and it's been working flawlessly. I've been looking into ways to increase the amount of "Civs" without actually increasing the Civ limit. To this end, I've turned to the City-States Evolved mod to satiate my need for even more cities on the map.

From what I've seen, the Community Patch changes City-State AI, and thus the effects of the City-States Evolved mod have been nullified.

Without the Patch (and after alteration of the base mod itself), City-States have been expanding at a rate not dissimilar to the base-game civs. However with the Patch, they don't seem to settle beyond their initial city.

Does anyone have any insight in regards to making this mod compatible with the Patch? If not, is there a way to revert City-States back their default AI back so that the effects of this mod work?

If you use ige and add a settler to a city-state, does he move and settle?

Not possible, it's easier to resolve the conflict.
 
It's all on a DLL modder, let's hope those changes works.

Can you try VP + CS evolved but with this dll : (edit: removed, it don't work, see below)
(replace the dll in the "(1) community patch" folder. 11-17 version)

I changed some CS failsafe. It should be better.

Will do. To answer your previous question, City-States weren't settling cities even after giving them Settlers.

I took the time to debug this.
Here the good dll fr 43civ/22cs (i think), compatible with cs evolved.
- found city: ok
- build settlers: ok
- explore strategy : ok (i shoudn't work before, even with the vanilla dll)
- CS shouldn't settle in other landmass.

note: you may want to change VP settings to set min distance between CS cities to 3 if your map is very big.

I'm glad to meet another mod compatibility! I think this thread must be moved to the mod repository section.
Btw, what version of dll did you modify?
 
latest git (because it resolves some ctd), not save-compatible (anyway, i break it).
How to: Install the 11-23 and replace the dll.

Link is broken, anyone has the fix to share?

Hi, have anyone checked this lately? It looks like City States do not expand anymore. Tried with latest VP and unique city states.
 
For some reason they aren't spawning settlers on my current save. Mods listed below. Not that I expect support on an eight year old mod lol just figured I'd share. It's still changing their "civ" names to be different than the city so some of it's working. I considered posting logs but there's A LOT of files which I'm not sure is normal. If logs help just let me know which ones or all of them.
