City view

I want a new city view in Civ 4 because when I look a city in the modern era with a population of 30 or above I see only some houses, the improvements and the wonders that I have build. A new city view must come, one like New York with lot of buildings like the Empire State Building. This would be cool

The city view is a waste of time, resources, and disk space and should be scrapped.

(Runs away under a barrage of rotten produce from those who appreciate the graphic inter beauty of the city view screen.)

edit: this is just my opinion of the city view. Since I know that some people appreciate it, I am not advocating its elimination, yet

I think this'll be a moot point. In Soren's GDC presentation, he hinted that the game would only have one unified WYSIWYG 3d view.

I wouldn't mind if it was scrapped but if they don't scrap it they really do need to make it better because right now it is really pointless since you don't see any development at all except for wonders and city improvements. Not even your palace changes.

I would like it more if they can make it that the city view is also the city menu. This would also add a evolutionary taste to the game: You can only raise science by clicking on the library, so if you haven't build one, your science is determined randomly. I know, not many people like this idea (I myself am not 100% convinced of it), but I'd really like to have a natural city view (and palace!) in!)
