Civ 1 -- CivNet

They are not very different when it comes to fundamentals. All of the important details are the same, so that they can be called diff. versions of the same game. Personally, I found the differences irritating, but I'm picky. The Civnet gameplay is nearly identical to that in Civ for Windows.

Cheats are different, diplomacy is the same... Was this any help?

Of course yes. And more often than Civ2, which graphics s***. How can you get rid of the most legendary game ever?
And if you say that Civ1 graphics are horrible, I'll reply that I'm playing it on Macintosh which is better.

Any other question?

No no and no.

Civnet is annoying, buggy, and inferior to the multiplayer capabilities of civ2. If you want multiplayer, civ2 is the best way to go.

Did your nose grow after posting this TTG? Yes there is a multiplayer version of CivWin called CivNet. Yes it is still available though hard to find, I found all the copies I've bought at KB-Toys and the last copy I bought was less than a month ago, or of course www.eBay.com usually has one up for bidding. And I know you know that there is somewhere to download it TTG, I saw your name in the credits for the abandonware site.

Did you read what I said really? My point was not that it doesn't exist but that it is not worth playing... sheesh.

Is it The Home of the Underdogs you are referring to?
