CIV 1 on XP?

is it at all possible?? surely there must be some sort of hack or something? all i've got is a Civ 1 SNES rom and Civ 2 on the Playstation. both are mightily annoying...

I have no problem running Civ 1 for DOS on XP. I have version 474.04, and I just double click on civ.exe to start it up...

Civ1 doesn't work on XP for me either, so I use DOSBox for it.

I've added a sticky thread for this purpose, making this thread obsolete, so I'll close this thread now.
