Civ 2 map to CIV 4 [BTS]

Hello!

I have this little silly question. I have one good CIV 2 map, which I have played for few times. My "mission" is to transfer this map to CIV 4 BTS. I've downloaded "Civ4DMapEditor" to create this, but I don't know if CIV 2 scale is as same as CIV 4, to me it seems that CIV 2 map is a little bit smaller, because when I create the same map (CIV 2 map world size is 75*120) all continents won't fit. Or maybe i've done it wrong. I would like to have some advices

Maybe I've phrased my request wrong, because my english is a little bit rusty (estonian btw), but I hope You do understand, what I mean

okay, i guess civ 2 format is little bit different

The problem is that the terrain tiles in Civ2 are diamond shaped, while they are square shaped in Civ4.

What do you have in mind to translate that between the two games? Or is that your question?

I would like create the same map (CIV2) to CIV4. While civ2 tiles are diamond shaped, it's a little bit tougher to create the same map into CIV4 (with Civ4DMapEditor).

Why not rotate the individual tiles by 45°?
