Civ 3 Complete Sound Issue

Hello all --

I seem to be having an issue with unit sounds in Civ 3 Complete. None of them play their sounds for moving, or attacking (or working for workers). Other sounds, such as building a new city, units dying, etc., are all playing, as well as the background music and such.

Is anyone else having this problem? If so, how did you (or did you at all) fix this?

I've looked through the other posts in this forum and this question doesn't look like it's been asked yet. If it has, I apologize in advance and ask for a pointer.

It's an nVidia GeForce FX 5200 (64M).

I have a rev 1.0 iMac 20".

You know, I think I am also experiencing this problem. I will play some more to double-check, but I definitely noticed the lack of unit sounds, especially on attack.

I've got a Mac mini 1.42 GHz, 512 MB RAM, OS X 10.4.4, ATI Radeon 9200.
 
You know I mentioned in another thread of a sound issue also. It's different, but, who knows....perhaps they're related. When the computer has the AI take a turn and when the game saves, the music in the background cuts in and out.
 
I seem to be having a bunch of sound troubles including:

Background Music Loops
Multiple Background Tracks Playing at Once
No Background Music
Missing Unit Sounds

G5 1.6 1.25GB Ram OSX 10.4.4
