CIV 3 Doesn't Wait At End of Turns. Why?

Hi there, I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem that is driving me nuts. At some point during the last five modified games I've played the game just stops and goes into the next round mode without waiting. Sometimes it will almost go a full round and other times it will happen after one move. It starts early on or happens well into the modern era. The "Always Wait At End of Turn" is selected from the beginning of the game. There is no rhyme or reason that I can figure out for this to happen. I've only slightly modified the game. I created a custom map, added 4 additional units (worker that can build wonders, battleship, nuke sub, modern armor upgraded for my use only and country name changed from America to Atlantis). I've reloaded the software, I've set the map back to default rules and redid the mods. Has anyone heard of this happening and how I can fix it? Thanks!!!!!
 
There's a preference called 'Always wait at end of turn.' Make sure it's checked. Then it should wait.

Sounds like a bug to me, if we only can find someone whos willing to read your whole post before responding you might get some help :p With some around here you might need to shorten your post to a few grunts before they will read the whole thing. ;)
 
Are you sure you aren't accidentally pressing either ctrl+enter or the round button on the lower right corner of the screen (top-left corner of the info box) which ends the current turn?

Thanks, I uploaded the game save "daveatlantismod.sav" to uploads9. Any help is so appreciated! Been playing Civ for years so I'm sure it's not simple like accidentally hitting the end turn button. I've played this game 4 times already and everytime at some point in the game, it goes into the not stopping at end of round problem. In my capital city, I'd have one unit on wait status to try and trick the simulation into waiting, but the game will skip that too and go into the next round cycle. As you'll see the only changes I've made to the game is creating the map, changing the name from america to atlantis and adding in several units available to human player only (all based on the game units) Just copied the .ini file and renamed in the units directory. The units work and don't appear to cause the problem the game. Created units called Ancient (leader that can finish improvements and always available), Super Battleship (more powerful battleship), Super Carrier (holds 12 planes), & MegaTank (more powerful german tank). I'm really new at posting on forums so I apologize in advance if I'm not doing it right. Thanks everyone!!

What version of Civ are you playing? PTW? C3C?

Also, are you playing PBEMs/MP/SGs? When you load a save, it resets the preferences to your preferences. But there's a bug where it doesn't always switch back. Could this be the case?
 
If you don't know, then it doesn't apply to you. ;)

PBEM - Play By EMail (not available in Vanilla)
MP - Multiplayer (Again, not available in Vanilla)
SG - Succession Games (Available in Vanilla, but you'd know it if you were playing one)


Edit: I'm getting an error when I load the file. What mod are you playing?
 
There may lie the problem, but I doubt it. Can you provide the .bic (editor file / map file) and the unit files too? Thanks - this will help us load the save.
