civ.3 in french patched with 1.21 in english

Ive no particular questions but i bought civ3 in french for mac. After a few problems (can't use the samourai unit), i patched 1.21 and everything changed all is mixed between french and english.
Is this problem happened to someone else?
And there's no french patch for civ3 in french, i think?!

Sorry, but I think that there is a french patch for civ3, just not one for the mac...
