CIV 3 Patch question

i just installed my civ3 complete editon on my comp(been playing civ 5 and civ 4), and was wondering if i needed to patch the Complete version or does it already have the patches in the game? I know i used to have to patch the original civ 3, ptw, and conquers..any help is greatly appreciated ty.

Look at the lower right-hand corner of your startup screen (the one with the vault). If it says 1.22, then that's the patch for Conquests. I believe it's 1.17 for PTW if you load that up. But, if you load the Complete disk up, without specifically loading PTW, you'll load Conquests.
