Civ 3 Won't Start

I just got Civ III: Complete as part of Civilization Chronicles and it installed fine, but when I try to start it, the screen goes black like it's loading and then I get put on the desktop. I can't get into the game at all. What's happening?

EDIT: Works fine after a restart.
