CIV 4 Complete crashes during install

I previously just had CIV 4, but went ahead and got CIV 4 complete because I had a gift card. I am running Win XP and had completely uninstalled CIV 4. Basically what happens is it goes to almost 100% done installing and just abruptly goes to the infamous windows blue screen. I had some issues with a virus that haven't been fully resolved in which it would randomly crash but that hasn't happened in several months. Furthermore, I recently installed another game on my comp and had no problems. Any ideas?

Thanks for replying. The blue screen only flashes for a second so I can't read what it says. I'm not sure how to see what errors are coming up.
