We have a unique situation where we play a multiplayer session on three computers on a home LAN.
We have run these three computers for years without a single problem, but recently we introduced a Windows 7 computer to the mix. It now crashes on any multiplayer game we try to play, even if we do not have the Windows 7 computer in the game.
Individually they can run a single player game without issue, but as soon as we go multiplayer one of the computers will get an nondescript program error and crash.
Oddly one time several weeks ago we did get the game to run for about 200 turns and then it crashed and then thereafter.
I made sure they are on a single WORKGROUP and that they are running off from the same switch. I have a feeling that it is still something to do with Windows 7 but we had isolated the computer out of the mix and still have the problem.
Any thoughts or ideas?
