Civ 5 BNW Freeze problems and fixes

Since I have updated to BNW my game freezes every game. It is seemingly random and forces me to reload the last save, which is a total waste of time. I have read a ton of threads and did my best to follow the recommendations, but the freezes still happen. I see that a lot of ppl have the same problem, but have not found the right fix. Please help!

i had problems like this, and evens topped playing and i am true fanatic plying since civ2. but 2K i must say helped me good. try them they told me to go to civ5 program filers delte all but soem files than resitall and this helped perfectly. please i do advise you to go to 2K for exact way to do this since i dp noty have exact instructions anymore, ill try to find tham and than come back to you but.... 2K finally helped me. go to srteam help than problems from other than steam seek 2K in the list and ask i had asnwer in a few hours
