CIV 5 By Far the Best Civ Yet

Lovin it too, best Civilization yet. I was discombobulated at first by all the changes, and had to re-adapt and forget my Civ4 strategies (LOVED civ4 btw). Now I can't go back to Civ4 and it's going to get deleted soon as I reboot in OS X....

Just played a whole day of LAN multiplayer, and apart from a few glitches it's awesome too!

Can you describe a bit more in detail how you play the game, because i have a very hard time enjoying it. Mainly because of the unbalanced build speeds.

I love CIV I, II, and III, Civ IV was terrible, religion was the aspect of IV that made it so terrible, I tried several times to make myself like it, but I just couldn't, it was garbage. Civ V is AMAZING, everything that sucked about IV is gone, YAY CIV V, Firaxis have created a game I will be able to play for the next decade.

I liked religion. It helped you form friends and enemies, like in real life.

They're all great. Civ5 is great in my opinion. They all had problems, of course. CivIV, i hated religion, the cottage economy (so glad it's gone) and with BTS, espionage. That was a mess.

To me, religion gave Civ IV a sense of uniqueness, that you weren't just playing a strategy game; you were manipulating history. Hopefully one can mod it in.
