The general idea is that if a city makes a warrior next time that city makes a warrior it produces it faster.

Here are a few questions that i have. How does a city check the production that turn.

I was thinking of modifying the city center with the feature.

Is there anywhere that past production is kept?

I am not sure where to start.

I am quite new to modding please be kind.

I haven't tried yet but I wonder if COST_PROGRESSION_PREVIOUS_COPIES for CostProgresstionModel can be used with negative value for CostProgressionParam1 for cheaper unit/building everytime it is built?

could this be applied on a per city basis or would it be applied to an empire as a whole

it is applied to the empire. all of the cost progression models are empire effects rather than city effects.

other than to show what was just completed in the city production panel, the game does not track as a city value what unit-types a city has previously produced nor how many times it has produced the same unit-type.
