Civ: BE 1.0.2.666 crash when Vsync disabled@ultra preset, 2880x1620

Hi

I'm running now the new version 1.0.2.666, on ultra settings, MSAAx4. With vsync off it crashes before the game starts (not getting to the main menu even), with vsync on it's ok.
Windows 8.1, GTX 980M, I7, 8GB RAM

With VSync on, the FPS are very good anyway, but I want to benchmark the game

Can anyone check this on their machine? I don't remember I had this problem before the update..
