Can I install Civ 3 on the same computer as Civ 4?

I have Civ IV loaded but I can't install Civ III from my CD:confused:

I can't see any reason why they should interfere with each other. My computer has both of them installed, and though Civ 3 was already installed when I loaded Civ 4 I can't see why this should have any effect.

If you have Civ4 installed, and try to install Civ3, the interdimentional flux beteen the time lines causes a tachyon overload on the interociter membrane.
:hmm:

@Ozymandius: Can you explain why you can't install Civ3? Any error messages? Did you have Civ3 installed in the past?

On the off-chance that when you put the CD in the drive you don't get a 'install' option - then check-out this post.
