Civ III Patches

I downloaded the patches from the Civilization site and opened them, but they just installed something and I can't figure out how to run them. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?¿

In case you hadn't noticed, this is sorta the basement of CFC, people don't come here that often. In the future you could try Quick Answers/Newbie Questions to get quicker responses from more people. This is the right forum but I think they'd forgive you if you asked over there.

Once you've installed the patches all you have to do is load up the game just the way you always have. The only difference is that now the number down in the bottom left corner of the main menu should have the number of the patch. If it says 1.22 for Conquests or 1.29f for Vanilla or whatever PTW is then you know you've correctly installed the patch.
