Civ IV BTS won't install

Hello, I downloaded BTS from Bestbuy tonight... and when I run the .exe file it bombs out and gives me the following error:

Runtime error (at 37:286)

Internal Error: Unknown custom message name "GameNotFound" in "cm" constant

I do have Civ IV installed, it is the Civ IV Gold edition. I am running windows 7. I tried reaching out to Bestbuy but they are no help at all. Sadly I cannot get a refund either.

I was searching around this site / forums and google but didn't find any solutions. I may have overlooked something though.

When I run the .exe file it doesn't even prompt me to select the folder location. It just asks me to select a language and then gives me the above error. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Even if it's a screen shot of how the folders should be organized / named, I'll try anything.

Where did you get your gold version from? Downloads from different places or downloads and disc versions are not compatible.

To elaborate on what Furiey said: In order to install BTS, you have to already have original CIV installed from the same source. If your CIV Gold is from a disc, you need BTS on a disc. If you want to use a downloaded BTS, you have to have a downloaded version of original CIV from the same online source installed. In the case of Best Buy, I don't know the source of their download. If it is their own version, you need their CIV. If they are retailing someone else's online version, you need the original CIV of that version, whether you download it from Best Buy or from another retailer - but be sure it is from the same online provider.
