Attached is image of graphic memory analyzer from nonatainment.de

Card memory is at 0.00 - meaning all is used. Card total memory is 64MB.
AGP aperture memory (memory from main memory dedicated for AGP purposes) is at ~64MB
Thus CIV IV uses at least 128MB of video memory, and as you can see, it can borrow system memory.

In other words, people with 32MB memory probably can run game, but performance is not going to be acceptable.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but it seemed like a good place to ask... I haven't recieved my copy of the game yet, and I was wondering if my system can handle it. I meet all the system requirements, but I have an older system and I'm wondering if my video card can handle the transform and lighting effects that CIV IV requires. I have an ATI All-In-Wonder 8500 128MB, it's an older card, but it's worked like a champ and a new card would mean a major upgrade right now. I don't know what to look for about transform and lighting, and if anyone here knows anything about it I'd be thankful for some help. Here's some info on my card, if it helps:
