civ on dell mini

Hello, Ive been playing revolution on the ps3, and decided to get civ4 on the pc to play when i am on the road. Problem is not all the menus show up. everything seems to work except being able to read the menus. Im running it on a dell mini 10 i think. The game looks very exciting, everything I was looking for, but I cant really play it if i cant read what my options are. Does anybody have a fix for this?

We don't know what a dell mini is. Do a DirectX diag printout and post it here.
