What would this club do?
Essentialy just be opened minded to this give it some thought, with a game like civ a club could be a really cool thing. It could become like a civ nation so to speak where the members act as the people and they might even do something such as vote in the positions as to who should lead what.... I don't really know if you have any ideas get in contact with me.

OK guys. I have recieved a few emails regarding this, and I just want to give everyone a better idea of what this is. I am going to start a Civ type of club where the members aren't just members they are actually a type of citizen. Here we will do everything and anything the members of the society would like to do. We can get together online, talk about civ, play civ... Anything... We will all work together to create the most interactive civ club ever where anyone and everyone's opinion counts. We can do things such as hold elections for who will hold what positions in the society. If anyone at all has any other ideas please get in contact with me at jereck32@aol.com. If you are intrested just write me an email and we can get some things going.

Sounds different to me, Inter, more like an out-of-Civ club. Seems a little vague, but sounds sort of like a clan.
I suppose you could see this as a clan but i like to see it as people who are able to get together, as a civilizaton. My idea is that when you join the club you choose a civilizaton and from there each civ chooses they're leaders and the people that represent them. I think if we can just get a couple people intrested in this we can get some really good ideas going. So as I said if anyone has any ideas for this even if you're not intrested just give me an email

If I understand correctly, this would be some kind of face-to-face (electronically speaking) Civilization game?
Guys this can be whatever we want it to be. Its like living out a civ game in real life, except we all get together and what not in chat rooms and talk about civ, maybe represent the particular civ you chose to belong to. Discuss civ, tell stories about the game, have a newsletter, maybe do contests, this can really be anything we want it to be, so please just email me what you think....
OK guys tell me what is making this sound like not so good of an idea to you? bc i think this could really give civ players a whole new expierience. And think about it.... this is new. Meaning you actually have a chance to speak out, and be heard.
It doesn't need to be like a civ "actual game" it can be like when you join the club you actually pick a civ. And you will join as a member of that civ and you and all you citizens of the particular civ will make decisions as to who leads your group who will write your newletter, who will run you're website... I don't intend for this to be like an actual civ game... Folks like I keep saying this can be whatever the PEOPLE want it to be... I am not making any rules here... so just throw around some ideas this could be really fun...
