civ specific ablities?? where is the option

has the option under rules for disabling or enabling Civ specifc ablities/units been removed under conquest 1.22???
or am i blind or has it been relocated

It's not an option as such, but it is one of the Scenarios that should be in under Civ-Content and called "No Civ Traits.biq".

Of course, that means that you can't play like this with another mod unless you mod it yourself.
 
yeah i saw the scenerio and figured that they removed the "button" and just put in a Scenerio instead..

okay dumb question when i was playing civ 1 12 yrs ago or whatever it is...
i thought i remebered that you could "stack" units..

is this still possible..
 
I dont remeber if there was a mulitplier or added bonus but i do recall that in Civ1 you could move units in a stack as long as you didnt exceed movementlimits for any unit.. and thus attack as a group..
 
Oh, okay. No, nothing like that in Civ3. You can move groups together, but there is no 'stack defend' or 'stack attack/bombard'. Makes it tedious when you have a SoD of 50 arty attacking the AI....
 
You can stack move your units onto an adjacent enemy square and they'll all attack. The downside is that they will never retreat, no matter what, and you can't stop the attack if you suddenly realize that things aren't going well.
