Please forgive me if this is
1: not in the right forum location
2: been answered somewhere else
I have an earth map from the forums here and i have made a few tweeks to it to start myself playing at a higher difficulty level for one of the civs (America), with as far as i can tell ALL civs have a set starting location.
However everytime i start up the game (yep going back to the other screen and checking the "scenario" radio button and starting as America, I often get placed in a completely different location (completely different continent sometimes from the American continent to somewhere in Europe. Also it has everytime (when i do start near the correct location) puts another civ city right on the edge of what will be (~4 hexes away from each other) of my city so that they are competing for tiles.
And is it possible for these scenarios to run properly in multiplayer?
I am honestly not sure what i am doing wrong, and i would greatly appreciate some help with this.
