There are no problems while playing.
But well into mid game the alt-tab function causes a crash while reloading the terrain...

any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I'm wondering what your specs are for CPU/graphics card/memory/hard drive

well here it goes:

Win 7 (64bit)
on:
DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E8400, 2956 MHz (9 x 328)
Asus P5Q Pro
4096 MB (DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM)
ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series (1024 MB) (res:1920x1200)
WDC WD5000AACS-00ZUB0 SATA

Any verdict?

by the way:
lower textures did not do the trick

and as to the symptoms:
When i call up the game window all features are still visible and the terrain starts reloading tile by tile.
In the middle of this process the game crashes.

Unless alt-tabbing works well for the vast majority of players, then don't alt-tab. There are many games that don't deal well with alt-tabbing (The Elder Scrolls games and Fallout 3 come to mind). Try using the windowed mode instead.

Pretty much, if it doesn't work, don't do it. :crazyeye:
