Waaay to early, obviously. But it could be fun to guess what they'll add in or expand on after the initial release of Civ V, based on just the first list of details released.

I'll go with...

Civilization V: Jihad!

Maybe not quite politically correct enough...

How about Civilization V: Crusades. I'm sure many here feel that religion is the obvious and influential aspect that vanilla Civ V is going to be missing.

In that spirit, I'm going to go with CIV V: Atrocities. They could bring back all the wonderful features of Alpha Centauri like nerve-stapling and nerve gas and UN Sanctions.

heh, the future last expansion for civ5 could be like:

The ancient world of Octavianus

(as to prepare us for octagons of civ6) ;)

Civ V Ancient Times (with the Return of Persia, Babylon, Sumer, Maya....)

And the ability to begin in 40000 B.C.

You can move your "settlers" but can't settle until a certain tech is available. During all that time you collect fruits, vegetables, you hunt animals, you can build units, do war with other nomadic tribes for the control of ressources... you can do things in order to increase your research, you can grow until you have to master different tribes, so then when you have the settling tech you can settle several cities at once...

Civilization V: Best Laid Plans

Will add Religion, Espionage and Corporations. The mod will focus on sneaky/controlling tactics.

Civilization 5: Rebellion

Adding Religion, Espionage, Guerilla warfare, and general Manipulation of populations (offensively and as something you have to deal with)
Also adds in advanced Alliance features where multiple civs can unify (similar to the Permanent Alliances, but with multiple players)

Sid Meier's Civilizatioin V: Make up excuses that a country is a threat to you so you can invade them and take their oil

Maybe too long, though...

First expansion pack: Fantastic Worlds

Second expansion pack: Test of Time

I wish

Civ V: Space Age (i.e. multilayered maps including moon, earth, and mars....:D)

Civilization V: Veritas

Brings back religions, religious civs that were left out of the game, and adds the usual expansion fluff.

In that spirit, I'm going to go with CIV V: Atrocities. They could bring back all the wonderful features of Alpha Centauri like nerve-stapling and nerve gas and UN Sanctions.
how i wish :(

good guess
my guess is to bring espionage in first EP and religion in 2nd EP. religion might also be replaced with mythological elements. so firaxis would get less complaints, if that was why they removed.

1st EP: Civ5 : Deep Lords
2nd EP: Civ5: Beyond The Sky :p

Based on the new hexagon map and the more realistic way of territory growth:

Civilization V: Way of the World or Civilization V: Axis of Dominance

Based on the increased emphasis on diplomacy and the strategical importance of city states:

Civilization V: Power Projection or Civilization V: Grand Bargain

Based on the one-unit-per-tile rule and the heavily tactical nature of combat:

Civilization V: Point of Attack or Civilization V: Central Command
