Civ V- I met myself ingame

I am playing as Egypt and have somehow managed to meet another civilization that was Egyptian. My unit colors are yellow & purple. Their unit colors are brownish-yellow and purple. Is this a bug?

Did you play with more civilizations than you had available?
Because if you have only 19 civs (so the standard game), and start a game with more than 19 civs, the computer will additionally add copies of the existing civs.

If this is not the case, then please provide a savegame.
