Civ V not launching from steam

[poor__n__stupid]

So, I downloaded some mods off of steam and now Civ V will not run past the loading screen (I never had any issues before). I validated the steam files, unsubscribed to all the mods, and I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it still wont load.

Got any ideas on how to get the thing running again?
