Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

I didn't even know of the existence of this menu.

Me too lol.

Now, back to the topic ;)

Because I was ignoring too long the quest, now it's Preslaw that decide to send themselves a trade road anyway :D
First time I see that btw, a bug or what? It's pretty cool though.

I guess the English were so unhappy with their queen that they decided to join the barbarians. For our freedom!

And I guess Mr Peter gives too much attention to the art, and not much to the army. Now I have rogue cossacks rampaging my neighbourough. :(

They just keep on coming!

I already killed a few, and some keep moving out from fog of war... And to top it off, I'm quite certain it was only one scout that saw me. (one warrior already perished by the way; I thought the scout was from the encampment I was clearing out, so I was a bit late to the defense)

EDIT: It is now turn 83. I destroyed an encampment, plus a second one that I don't believe had anything to do with this invasion, and behind that first encampment there's more land, from which more keep coming. I think that, around now, I have killed some 15 warriors, 4 slingers, an archer and a swordsman (and two scouts). I lost two units, and have several units that now have two promotion levels (iirc exp after first lvl was reduced in normal game, but my mod has removed that)

EDIT2: It is now turn 98. I am still fighting the same frontline as I did fifteen turns ago. I have killed several Swordsmen as well as another scout, despite not even having researched Iron Working yet myself. On top of that, I lost a Warrior to a Quadririme that appeared from the fog of war when the warrior was moving back to my borders to heal. Also note that I know for certain no scout has visited my cities for the last 40 or so turns.

I really think I should scale the difficulty level back to Emperor and start again...

EDIT3: Turn 100. Two more Swordsmen appeared. I'm done, back to Emperor.

@Leyrann Imagine if Barbarians took out all capitals, would they be able to win the game? That's a quite ridiculous amount (though I must say that you should have built Archers instead of Warriors, they're more efficient in that regard).

yep b-line straight to archery and start pumping them out and line your borders with them.

Barbarians can't take over capital cities; they can only pillage improvements and bring capital cities to 1HP. After all, whatever city they take gets razed, but capital cities don't get razed, thus barbarians can't take over capital cities.

Sad to say, but you are wrong on that. Fire up a new game, disband your starting warrior and let the barbs attack your capital. Then please report back what happens.

Don't forget to settle a new city before you lose your capital ;)

You have an archer holding off the barbs, so, yes, they aren't taking your city. That's not the point -- you said your capital could not be razed if it was taken by barbs. Let the barbs take your capital -- disband your archer, disband your warrior, let the barbs do what they will. In Civ V, nothing happened -- the barbs grabbed some gold and off they went. In Civ VI, your capital is taken by the barbs and insta-razed, whereupon you lose the game (if that is your only city).

No, you're not going anywhere to scout anyone to raid.

A fine day in Sumeria, here to watch the start of the annual Greek regatta.

Is it a mod to change colours? Or are those duplicate leaders?

BTW, is that Swordman there the referee?

Mod to change colours. First thing I modded. I struggled with Norway (red on blue), and tinkered around with other nations colours to have them easier to differentiate. Sumeria's primary colour was pretty close to Egypt so I added some green.

Yes I noticed the rogue Swordsman in the fleet. Maybe he represents a lost surfer?
