Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

It's good my Chinese engineers built the Great Wall with foresight into allowing a railroad to pass through it.

The barbarians are so aggressive that I've stacked a freaking +19 combat bonus in my government AND as much production as possible just to deal with them. And I'm not sure if it'll be enough.

While technically better, this is even more tilting than watching the AI build it on a 1-tile lake.

Absolute god start on Spain.

Save game included, warrior has moved. I do have a bunch of mods enabled, most probably aren't required, but the Gold Resource mod might be. It's pretty popular afaik.

Relevant parameters:
Deity difficulty.
Standard map size with standard players, city states, religions.
No barbarians (having them tends to make the game easier because the AI can't deal with them on high difficulty levels).
No special game modes.
Standard settings all around.
Map type Lakes.

Funnily enough, I was planning to simply roll a bunch of games to scout some interesting starts because I'm kind of under the weather, and this was the second game I rolled. Just regular ol' standard starting location, not legendary. I even had my civilization on random.

I would settle on the rice personally. What did you do?

I'm actually about to start the game right now (didn't feel like playing it yesterday because, as I said, I was feeling under the weather), but that was my idea as well. It's three turns, but the instant faith and extra production is worth it, plus the rice gives a 3f city center. EDIT2: Actually, it apparently gives 2p as well with the interaction with the wonder, so I have a 3f2p + 1 faith city center.

Edit: And upon moving there:

Spoiler :
It also gives me a 4f2p spice tile left of Devil's Tower, though admittedly in the third ring, and i'm not going to move more.

Spoilered because it's from above game, in case people want to play without knowing what's coming.
Spoiler :

Apparently my home continent is just tiny in the first place (the northern continent is in the snow though, so not the most useful)

Okay, HOW am I the first major civilization to meet Granada?

I understand why a polar reef qualifies as a natural wonder...

(can I just say this game is a screenshot goldmine?)

Do you play with barbarian clans mode and Granada just became a CS from a clan? In my experience the player always is the first to meet those new cs. Maybe because the player is the first major civ to move after the CS appears.

Nope, in fact I have barbarians off completely. I just walked there with my warrior and I got a free envoy.

I don't think I have ever seen an AI this determined to forward settle me.

(note: still same Spain game from above)

Gandhi, you're NOT CHANDRAGUPTA.

He has since settled two more cities next to it.

Pity for him I was planning on a Conquistador push anyway. And I have the Crusade belief. And I have an insanely big empire to support a war. And I have almost 400 grievances against him because he promised me both to stop settling and stop converting, and then broke them both.

I can probably push all the way to Delhi without any other AI getting angry at me, lol.
