Civ with windows emulator?

If there even is one...
There is VirtualPC, but it will not run the PC version of Civ3 well at all on a mac. Many mac users use it to open executables for various PC mods to install them on the mac version.

Depends, if the SGs are vanilla Civ3 (1.29f) then they're compatible on the mac. However, there are not mac versions of PTW or Conquests in existence.

Don't be so pessimistic!
I'm playing an SG right now with a team that is all Windows as far as I know. As long as they play CivIII 1.29 for Windows there's no problem with file interchange.
Also, we can play Games of the Month on an equal footing with the PtW crowd, as these games are designed to run in both versions, with added units and civs on the 1.29 side to match those in PtW.
Of course, if you really want to play Conquests then forget it on the Mac.
