Civ3 Complete Issue

Why are some of the industrial techs and all of the modern techs messed up and grossly mismatched at the science advisor's tech tree? I am playing Civ3 Complete, v1.22. Is there a patch to fix this problem?

Nope, regular game, Civ3 Complete, v1.22. For example, placing cursor over Ironclad technology, the advisor gives me details on Integrated Defense (A whole era off!)

I think it is normal. It happens to me. He is saying when you mouse hover over an avalable tech like fission, it might say something about synthetic fibers.
