Civ3 Computer Games Mag awards

Just picked up computer games Mag. and Civ3 was starategy game of the year. As well, Civ3 received the ultimate nod game of the year for 2001. Also Apolyton Civ site mentioned in an article on Mods.

PC gamer magazine voted Civ3 turn based strategy game of the year in their annual awards issue.

I saw an ad, or something like that on tv.
Way to go! I've rarely/never seen a pc game advertized on tv.

Exactly.

If a very flawed and underdeveloped Civ III was "game of the year" there couldn't have been much competion.

Those gaming mags are about as honest as an Olympic skating judge.
