Hope this is the right board.

Righty ho, basically, I'm a filthy, no good, worthless cheater and want to increase my treasury from 10 gold to 10000 for the Napoleanic Europe conquest scenario. However, when I go to play the game, my treasury is always at 400 no matter what civ I play with. Any know how to solve this problem?

Thanks me hearties :)

Are you sure you edited the conquest map, not the scenario one.

Welcome to CFC you filthy, phatetic, no good cheater. :joke: [party] :band: [party]

(psst... there's also another great way of cheating... by editing the government (republic perhaps), and then making an eraless tech that you own, and then making it the governments recuriment.)

Aaaaaah, thankyou my Finnish friend, that's the problem! I'll keep your sneaky tip in mind too :D

Oh no, I edited the Conquests file and it's still set at 400 gold :(

I personally think gold is over-rated, particularly in over-excessive quantities, there are a lot better ways to focus cheating energy on that a bit of extra gold, but... If you look in the downloads section of this site, look in utility programmes section for civ3, then look at all of the "topics" until you get to a trainer called "powerbar" it does loads of weird and wonderful stuff like rush science production, rush production, set gold amount, road every available tile in your territory, clear jungle, clear pollution and much more
