I like to think us (CIV players) like an elite in the game world.
Anyone can play The Sims.
Most can play Age of Kings or Warcraft.
Some can play Age of Empires at it full potencial.
But CIV is only for a few to play, and for the rest to see (spacially CIV3, because of its graphics) [dance]
It (CIV...) requires pacience, strategic thought, good control of game stats (tecs, units, govs, actions, dip actions and its consequences, field adaptation, victory tipe focus,...). I tried to explained it to my mother and you should see the result

(

). And my brother (14-year-old, good at SIMs, NHL, FIFA, Dead or Alive, F1,...)

and cannot take control of my empire (ok, a short war, where everything is prepared and victory is certain). My father doesn't play games, and my grandmother can't see the difference between Windows and CIV...

At home, they think I'm halfaway to getting craizy, because of staying so long in front of a thing without a understandable explanation. And my brother wants to play with me... FIFA.
So 1 million sales is already a very good number, according to the game requirements (not the computer ones...
