Chieftain
I have what seems to be a serious problem.
First off this is my system :
P4 3.4 ghz Intel Processor
2 gb RAM
Nvidia 6800GS
Asus motherboard
The game runs normally, till at some point, after half an hour or something my whole computer crashes. My sound loops, I keep hearing the same thing and my screen goes all messy. You can see nothing but lines in wierd colors, bit hard to describe.
Now I personally think it has something to do with my videocard overheating. I checked wether or not my ventilators were still working, and they did. So I tried playing Trackmania Nations Forever. This game was released just a month ago, so I guess it should be heavier on my pc, but Im not sure. Everything worked fine, even though I played it a couple of hours or something. So I dont think it has anything to do with overheating or something like that, but Ill try playing Batllefield 2 this afternoon, to check if that works.
I dont think it is a problem In my installation of Civ4 bts, as I have played 4 hours or something before the first crash.
I hope somebody can help, because I have no idea how to solve this. I will also try to play Civ4 vanilla to check if that works. Now Im afraid to play the best game that I have ever played
I hope it is just a software bug and that I didnt kill my pc or anything...
