CIV4 Demo try it on your comp.

Well after all the fixes i decided to see if the demo ( just released) had the same problems i was having, because if it did it would kill sales. Anyway, i download the demo and play it. The demo works perfectly and has some new stuff and is ALOT better than the actualy Civ4 game, If i could return the buggy crap game and just play the Demo i would. Hopefully the patch (which also didnt help much) will make the real game play as well as the demo. Just sayin if you have probs check the demo and see if you can play it.

There's no sucky SecuRom on the main game either. It uses safedisc 4.

No sucky SafeDisk on the demo either. I can run that OK, but the full game will just not acknowledge that the DVD is in the drive.

Clearly they've been working on the demo instead of the patch. Thanks Firaxis!! Don't bother fixing the thing for those who actually bought it, just try and rope a few more suckers in!
