CIV4 Globe, Pan and Zoom

Am i missing something, but why is the pan not 360degrees?

Also I am sure on the video reviews when you zoomed out the world was shown as a globe not flat.

Is it me?

I haven't see the globe, either. Not saying it's not there, but when I zoom out I just see a flat world.

Anyone know if it all depends on world size?

Panning 360 would be nice, but I don't think it's part of the game.

You have to have a certain percentage of the width explored before you can view the globe. Also, to spin it, right or left click and drag the mouse.

I've seen the world as a globe and it doesn't even work on my computer (properly).

When the world is flat (i.e., pick a map like team-something, lakes, or some other non-global map), look at the very bottom. Unless they changed it at some point, you'll see the world drop off.
