Civ4 SE on non-English WinXP

As a Dane I'm running my Windows XP with Danish language (surprise ) and installed my Civilization 4 Special Edition on my computer.
Installation went fine - but when trying to start up the game I see a progress bar for half a second.
After trying to look for a reason it seems like the game is looking for a file in C:\Program Files\Common Files\ - but with my Danish language the directory is called C:\Programmer\Fælles Filer\..

Any advice on how to fix that ?

Actually I'm unaware of such a directory, but why not simply duplicate the folder and rename it? If the folder's name is the only problem, that should solve it.

What a brilliant idea.. Why didn't I come up with that ?!

But during the evening I made some driver updates and just wanted to check if the game worked - and it did !

Somehow that doesn't make much sense - but it works (and what a game !)
